Responsibilities
Develops, presents, and executes a 1031 Exchange Go-to-Market (GTM) plan to broaden the company’s market reach and achieve revenue growth
Establishes and maintains strategic relationships with prospective referral partners to grow the 1031 Exchange pipeline and drive transaction volume
Collaborates closely with other business teams (e.g., Marketing department) to develop campaigns that create market demand
Delivers on agreed quarterly and annual revenue targets per the company business plan
Participates in industry trade shows in both the capacity as an attendee and at times an exhibitor to increase the awareness of Equity 1031 Exchange
Must be willing to speak in front of groups as a subject matter expert on 1031 exchanges.
Documents information regarding sales calls into a client relationship management system (CRM)
Assists in refining of sales and marketing plan dictated by industry evolution
Provides input regarding opportunities to optimize 1031 operations processes
Performs other duties as assigned

Required
Bachelor’s degree in business or related field
4+ years’ experience in business development or sales experience in the financial or real estate industry
Proven track record of exceeding pipeline and revenue targets
Willingness to travel 25%+
Preferred
Certified Exchange Specialist designation highly preferred
Intermediate level proficiency in Microsoft Office
Basic knowledge of CRM systems
