Responsibilities

Research market in regards to competition, products, and pricing

Expand current market through the introduction of new products and services

Utilize automation tools to identify opportunities within accounts

Prepare schedule of customer contact cadence

Update customer order/account information as needed

Ensure knowledge is up to date on catalogs, price sheets, and bulletin changes

Review sales and vendor reports for growth opportunities

Review customer payment obligations and develop plans for collection

Develop monthly sales reports including call reports, customer status, and pricing issues

Consult with clients after sales or contract signings to resolve problems and provide ongoing support

Required

High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate) required

Minimum 2 years of experience in the heavy duty industry required

Minimum 3-4 years in a B2B sales role providing customer service at a high level

Strong organizational and time management abilities

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Must be willing to travel up to 70%, within a 400-mile radius, with some overnight travel required

Preferred

Bachelor’s Degree preferred
