Responsibilities
Identify and develop new opportunities within target market segments.
Build strong business relationships with key contacts to influence business decisions.
Promote the company's capabilities including engineering design, construction, and project management.
Forecast and develop business plans as directed by executive management.
Coordinate all operational roles to harmonize customer support activities.
Present and sell project proposals, negotiate contracts, and optimize profitability.
Maintain market awareness to identify new product and service opportunities.
Comply with corporate policies and procedures, especially in safety and environmental culture.
Manage the Bid Opportunity & Sales System (BOSS) tracking tool and prepare reports as required.
Extensive domestic travel is required.

Required
Proven track record of success in a sales or business development role
Business Development experience within the commercial construction industry (min. 3 years)
Experience in a highly complex and industry diversified technical environment
Strong technical experience, knowledge, and understanding of process and distribution systems for electronics, solar, BioPharma, and general industries
Comfortable with the 'supplier' nature of the function
Demonstrated leadership skills to drive continuous improvement of processes
Attention to detail, ability to work independently and as part of a team, willingness to mentor others
Solid communicator with the ability to communicate externally with customers and internally at all levels
B.S. in business, mechanical engineering, chemical engineering, or related field
Minimum of 5-10 years of professional experience
