Responsibilities
Develop and implement strategic business development plans to achieve company objectives.
Proactively seek and identify new business opportunities in the property insurance claims industry.
Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities.
Prepare and present reports on business development progress to senior management.
Build, develop, and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align sales strategies with company goals.
Effectively manage and grow a pipeline of new clients to achieve and exceed sales targets.
Represent MD Claims Group at industry events and networking opportunities to strengthen the company’s brand and expand market reach.

Required
Minimum of 5+ years of experience in business development within the property insurance claims industry.
Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
Proficiency in Hubspot or similar customer relationship management software.
Excellent strategic planning abilities to identify growth opportunities.
Proven track record of successful client acquisition and retention.
Strong existing relationships within the insurance and property claims sectors.
In-depth knowledge of market dynamics and industry trends.
Exceptional negotiation skills to secure favorable terms in contracts.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
Preferred
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
Business development: 1 year (Preferred)
Sales: 1 year (Preferred)
Willingness to travel: 50% (Preferred)
