Responsibilities

Develop, manage, and execute the sales process including marketing, lead generation, prospecting, proposal strategy, negotiation, and sales closing.

Identify new business opportunities to grow sales and expand DISA’s presence in the transportation market.

Sell DISA solutions and products, build a large sales pipeline through cold call activity and networking, and perform inside or outside sales.

Meet with prospective clients to explain services, cost, and advantages.

Participate at national industry-related trade shows to explain company services.

Educate small or large groups of prospects and customers on DISA’s multiple services and products.

Required

BA/BS degree and four (4) years of business to business sales experience in the transportation market, an Associate’s degree and six (6) years of business to business sales experience in the transportation market, or a high school diploma with eight (8) years of business to business sales experience in the transportation market

Intermediate skill level in Microsoft Office Suite

Remote work location opportunity, with the understanding that travel to Corp office (Houston) on an as needed basis will be required.

Preferred

Consultative selling approach experience

Experience in selling driver safety compliance services including drug testing, background screening, and driver qualification file management services

Knowledge of and understanding of the necessary Employee Screening requirements in the Transportation industry. Proficiency in this area is required to best accommodate this role

Microsoft Dynamics / Salesforce software experience
