Responsibilities
Lead Generation & Prospecting: Identify and qualify new business opportunities through market research, networking, referrals, and targeted outreach, with a focus on legal firms and legal tech brands.
Pitching & Presentations: Develop tailored presentations and proposals that showcase our agency’s value, focusing on how our marketing solutions can meet the unique needs of prospective legal clients.
Relationship Building: Nurture long-term relationships with key stakeholders—law firm partners, legal tech founders, and industry influencers—becoming a trusted advisor rather than a one-time vendor.
Event Engagement: Attend and represent Outlier at industry conferences, trade shows, and seminars. Coordinate event sponsorships, manage booths, and engage attendees to generate interest and leads.
Sales Strategy & Process Improvement: Collaborate with leadership to refine our sales approach, from refining lead scoring methods to optimizing our sales funnel.
Market Feedback: Work closely with the marketing and accounts teams to share client feedback and emerging industry trends, ensuring our service offerings evolve with the market.
Reporting: Track metrics such as lead conversion rates, pipeline progress, and revenue growth. Prepare periodic sales reports and forecasts for the leadership team.

Required
Demonstrated understanding of the legal ecosystem, legal tech products, and how marketing applies in this specialized space.
Familiarity with digital marketing strategies (SEO, PPC, content marketing, social media) and the nuances of marketing to law firms and legal tech. Ability to design and build proposals.
Proven experience in B2B sales or business development, ideally in marketing, professional services, or tech sectors. A track record of meeting or exceeding targets is a plus.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to connect authentically, listen actively, and negotiate effectively.
Comfortable representing the brand at industry events, able to quickly build rapport and engage potential clients in high-paced environments.
Strong pipeline management, CRM usage, Hubspot and time management skills.
Able to adjust pitches and strategies on the fly based on feedback, shifting market conditions, or changing client needs.
