Responsibilities

Manage the engineering relationships and direct activities at assigned customers, for existing and new opportunities.
Direct the application engineering activities within the assigned customers to sure that a tangible return on investment exists.
Maintain a team approach with the Key Account Manager and Applications Engineer at assigned customers.
Specifying market requirements for current and future products by bridging the gap between Business Development, Key Account Management, Operations, Engineering and Marketing.
Develop account plans for major accounts that include relationship matrix and document design cycles of the major OEM’s
Work closely with Marketing and the brand leaders to ensure that business development efforts are in line with the strategy.
Coordinate engineering projects with the global sales and engineering teams, as appropriate.
Develop customer development roadmap for his /her assigned customers that outline the implementation plan for the various products in our portfolio.
Understand competitor company profiles and product line as assigned customers.
Work closely with New Product Development to ensure key attributes are incorporated on potential developments of automotive focused products as well as products with cross market capability.
Maintain awareness of and compliance with company policy and safety standards in performance of all job duties.

Required

Significant experience in growing business within multiple industry OEMs and design responsible tiers through engineering development activities and customer relationships.
Ability to manage engineering relationships and direct activities at assigned customers for existing and new opportunities.
Experience in directing application engineering activities within assigned customers to ensure a tangible return on investment.
Ability to maintain a team approach with the Key Account Manager and Applications Engineer at assigned customers.
