Responsibilities
Develop business by establishing and maintaining client relationships within the life sciences industry with a focus on pharmaceutical manufacturers and CROs.
Identify sales opportunities and develop / execute sales strategies to increase market share and revenue; stay up to date on market / industry trends and adjust strategies accordingly.
Conduct meetings, both remotely and in person, with existing and prospective clients.
Create proposals and lead contract discussions with existing and prospective clients.
Document and report out on business development activities, including lead generation, sales pipeline, client feedback, and other various KPMs.

Required
5+ years of experience in business development within the life sciences industry, specifically clinical research and/or commercial pharmaceutical manufacturing and packaging
Strong understanding of cGMP and FDA regulations and documentation practices
Familiarity of the pharmaceutical supply chain and clinical trial processes
Exceptional communication and negotiation skills within various levels of an organization
Willingness and ability to travel to existing and prospective client sites as needed
Preferred
Experience working with CDMOs or CROs highly preferred, but not required
