Responsibilities
Identify new business opportunities
Build strong relationships with customers
Assist in enhancing market presence
In-person customer interaction
Finding opportunities on e-platforms
Assistance in proposal writing
Collaboration with cross-functional teams
Secure profitable partnerships
Monitor industry trends and competitor activities
Prepare and present reports on business development activities, risks, and outcomes

Required
4-7 years of prior sales experience along with a proven track record in federal sales or equal military experience.
Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for building relationships with customers. Must be able to comprehend customers’ requirements and identify solutions.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
This position requires working from your home office with some overnight travel; candidate must live near a major city/airport (DC area is a plus!).
Proficient in the use of technology. Computer competence, including MS Office and other software platforms.
Preferred
Prior military service and/or government sales/contract experience is preferred.
Some college education preferred or prior military experience.
