Responsibilities
Spend majority of any working hours contacting potential clients for NOVA, outside of NOVA facilities.
Actively market NOVA and convince potential clients to use NOVA's lending services instead of that of a competitor.
Deliver superb customer service, including competently coordinating and directing all client leads to a NOVA Loan Officer, keeping the client well informed of the process, and providing information to customers in a timely manner.
Identify potential clients for NOVA's services in various geographical regions and constituencies. Track and communicate attempts to identify potential clients and productivity of new contacts.
Conduct potential sales calls in client's home, client's business, or other location such as home shows, title offices, and the like.
BDO will be customarily and regularly engaged away from NOVA's place or places of business. NOVA will not provide BDO with a home office.
Direct, manage and coordinate all initial communications with the customer and loan personnel.
Generate bona fide business leads and develop referral networks to locate prospective customers.
Responsible for staying informed of market trends and developments; stay abreast of new types of loans and other financial services and products.
Responsible for understanding and complying with all laws, rules and regulations pertaining to mortgage lending.
Other duties as assigned.

Required
High School Diploma or GED
A minimum of 2 years of recent work experience in the mortgage loan industry required
Knowledge of, and strict compliance with, all applicable federal, state, and local laws, rules and regulations related to NOVA's business
Able to maintain high level of confidentiality regarding private, trade secret and/or proprietary information
Knowledge and understanding of computer software programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook as well as mortgage tracking software
Effective oral and written communication skills; excellent responsiveness to customers and NOVA® personnel
Preferred
Previous experience in a field requiring customer service preferred
