Responsibilities
Prospecting: Proactively identify new leads using diverse channels including cold calling, cold emailing, social selling, and networking
Lead Qualification: Assess leads based on their interest level, budget, authority, needs, and timeline (BANT criteria) to ensure they meet the qualification standards for AE engagement
Initial Outreach: Reach out to potential leads via personalized emails, calls, or social media messages to introduce the company’s offerings and gauge their interest
Appointment Setting: Arrange appointments, demonstrations, workshops, or meetings for the sales team with qualified leads to further understand their needs and propose potential solutions
Lead Nurturing: Maintain consistent communication with leads who are not yet ready to purchase, build relationships, provide valuable information, and keep the company at the forefront of their minds until they are ready for sales engagement
Comprehend and incorporate the Account Executive (AE) plan, aiding in strategy formulation, which includes identifying potential targets, conducting detailed prospect research, and prioritizing effectively
Perform comprehensive research on industry trends, competitive landscape, and target markets to uncover new opportunities and fine-tune prospecting strategies
Dynamics CRM Management: Keep the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system updated with accurate records of all lead interactions to track progress, evaluate performance, and ensure a smooth transition to the sales team
Continuous Learning: Stay abreast of our capabilities and offerings, industry trends, and sales techniques through training sessions, workshops, and self-learning to enhance sales effectiveness
Metrics Tracking: Monitor and analyze Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as conversion rates, lead quality, and outreach activity to measure the success of sales development efforts and identify areas for improvement

Required
MUST reside in UT or TX
Sales Knowledge: Well-versed in sales techniques
Networking Skills: Effective in identifying new leads using diverse channels including cold calling, cold emailing, social selling, and networking
Research Skills: Proficient in conducting comprehensive research on industry trends, competitive landscape, and target markets
Communication Skills: Excellent in both written and verbal communication for prospecting, initial outreach, and lead nurturing
CRM Management: Experienced in managing Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems, preferably Dynamics CRM

Strategic Thinking: Capable of planning and strategizing
Collaboration: Works well with the sales team and other stakeholders
Lead Qualification: Competent in assessing leads based on their interest level, budget, authority, needs, and timeline (BANT criteria)

2-3 years of experience in a Business Development or Sales Development representative role in the B2B tech or services industry with a proven track record of exceeding quotas
