Responsibilities

In-person and virtual prospecting using HubSpot, existing company contacts, and tailored outreach campaigns designed for your success. Every qualified conversation begins with you!
Work within our proven Sales Playbook to identify targets, engage decision-makers, and generate top-of-funnel interest.
Focus on acquiring net-new clients while also nurturing the relationships you establish, ensuring those clients continue to grow with ACC.
Collaborate with the Owner/Operators to close deals, while learning bottom-of-funnel conversions to maximize your potential and commissions.
Benefit from an ongoing commission model, earning on repeat orders from the clients you bring in as they grow their business with us.
Maintain relationships with new clients you bring in to ensure satisfaction and identify growth opportunities, while remaining focused on acquiring additional net-new business.
You will continue to act as the primary relationship driver for ongoing sales on your accounts, in collaboration with the Owner/Operators, to encourage repeat orders and maximize revenue (and commission!).
Quickly gain product knowledge using existing training resources and direct guidance from the Owner/Operators.
Stay sharp with insights on industry trends, pricing strategies, and what makes ACC the best choice for clients.
You will spend up to 50% of your time in-market; 30% for Account Based Prospecting travel, and 20% of your time attending trade shows and client/prospect on-sites.
All event/conference travel is planned in advance and all travel costs are fully covered.

Required

Experience in business development or sales.
Ability to prospect in-person and virtually using tools like HubSpot.
Proven track record of acquiring net-new clients.
Strong relationship-building skills.
Ability to analyze results and adapt strategies accordingly.
Comfortable discussing technical products and processes.
Self-motivated and able to create opportunities independently.
Resilience and confidence in facing challenges.

Preferred

Experience in the manufacturing or distribution industry.
Familiarity with cathodic protection anodes or specialty material products.
Previous experience attending trade shows or industry events.
