Responsibilities

Proactively identify new sales opportunities through outbound calls, emails, networking events.
Demonstrate ability to prospect and create new revenue opportunities in the pipeline.
Collaborate closely with marketing and the product teams to develop sales specific content and outreach that will drive tradeshow attendance, customer engagement, and support the overall sales strategy for Velosidy.
Engage and nurture existing customers through cold calls, emails, and social media platforms.
BDR will research client current state, draft presentation decks, and outreach communication, author agendas, assisting SEs in progressing opportunities through the sales pipeline.
Present and articulate our SaaS value proposition to pave the way for deep dive discovery, product demonstration, engagement across their client leadership team.
Manage and nurture a detailed pipeline using Salesforce to track all activities, touch points, and status updates.
Conduct account-based research to identify pain points and potential conversion opportunities.
Compile and summarize key findings in reports for the sales team.
Meet or exceed annual lead generation quotas (Sales Qualified Opportunities).

Required

4+ years of experience in business development or inside sales.
Proven experience in outbound sales prospecting.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent customer service orientation.
Track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
Team player with a collaborative attitude.
Self-motivated and goal-oriented.
Experience with Salesforce CRM or similar tools.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with web/mobile solutions.
Ability to solve complex problems effectively.

Preferred

Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Experience in qualifying and selling SaaS or technology products preferred.
Familiarity with the B2B software industry is a plus.
Knowledge of finance, credit, or healthcare industries is a bonus.
