Responsibilities

Proactively connect with new clients via phone, email and in-person to establish a working relationship and provide an opportunity for Solar Art to bid on their window film projects
Connect with potential clients and get Solar Art set up on their bid lists for window film projects
Conduct a high volume of outbound calls and emails each week to new clients
Conduct in-person presentations (lunch & learns) that educate clients on Solar Art products / services
Visit target customers without an appointment to identify the appropriate contact and determine next steps to build a working relationship with that client
Work with sales leadership, estimators and ops teams to ensure new clients receive timely estimates and prioritized ops service.
Actively manage an account sales pipeline within the company CRM, track activities, tag accounts and leverage company technology to stay organized
Coordinate travel logistics to support account development activities
Attend trade shows to connect with prospective new clients
Join key associations (i.e. BOMA) and attend meetings regularly within key markets
Partner with Sales Ops team and Marketing to identify key account targets within your assigned territory

Required

3 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role, with a proven track record of achieving targets
Strong understanding of the construction industry and competitive landscape
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
Self-motivated and highly organized
Proficiency in CRM software and Google Suite
Ability to travel (up to 50%)

Preferred

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
