Responsibilities

Contract Vehicle Hub Management: Manage + maintain Summit Strategy's Contract Vehicle Center of Excellence, ensuring it remains an up-to-date, comprehensive resource for our clients + prospects.
Opportunity Identification: Conduct in-depth market research using SAM.gov and other tools to identify contract vehicles and federal government procurement opportunities aligned with client interests + capabilities.
Client Support: Provide summaries + recommendations of identified opportunities to internal teams and clients, ensuring alignment with their business goals.
Content Creation: Write engaging and informative content for Summit Strategy’s website, blog, and social media channels that highlight relevant solicitations, market trends, and best practices in federal procurement.
Positioning Expertise: Help position Summit Strategy as a thought leader and go-to resource for federal procurement by developing content and resources that demonstrate our expertise in federal government contracting and market opportunities.
Data Analysis: Analyze market trends, competition, and historical procurement data to provide insights and recommendations for business development strategies.
Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing, sales, and client services teams to align opportunity identification with business goals and client needs.

Required

Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
2-3 years of experience in federal government procurement, business development, or a related field.
Familiarity with federal government contracting processes and tools like SAM.gov, GovWin, or other procurement databases.
Excellent research skills with the ability to distill complex information into clear, actionable insights.
Strong writing and communication skills, with experience in writing content for blogs, websites, or social media preferred.
Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Preferred

Experience working with contract vehicles such as GWACs and IDIQs.
Knowledge of federal government RFP and procurement processes.
Previous experience in proposals, marketing, or business development in the federal government contracting space.
Is a team player.
Brings excellent multitasking skills.
Is a critical thinker and self-starter who can autonomously problem solve.
Communicates clearly and effectively.
Is dedicated to meeting project deadlines.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Has served as a 1099/consultant/contractor prior.
