Responsibilities
Maintain interactive dashboards, reports, and scorecards using Power BI or similar BI tools to track performance and monitor KPIs.
Write complex SQL queries for data extraction, validation, and analysis across large datasets.
Work through the entire BI development life cycle: requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment.
Perform ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and accessibility across systems.
Develop proof-of-concept BI solutions to validate business use cases and pilot tools.
Analyze healthcare/marketing industry trends to capture key performance metrics (e.g., operational efficiency, patient outcomes, campaign success rates).
Collaborate with stakeholders to develop automated monitoring systems to track performance in Power BI and ensure data-driven decision-making.
Partner with business teams to gather requirements, understand processes, and deliver solutions tailored to organizational goals.
Guide business users on data interpretation, self-service tools, and BI best practices to improve data literacy across teams.
Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate BI deliverables align with business needs.
Monitor emerging BI tools and trends to recommend enhancements to existing processes.
Ensure compliance with industry regulations (HIPAA for healthcare) and company standards in data security and privacy.
Document processes, technical designs, and solutions for knowledge transfer and maintenance.

Required
Bachelor's degree or advanced degree (where required)
3+ years of experience (in lieu of degree, 5+ years of experience) in a BI development and data analytics related field.
Proficiency in SQL for data extraction, transformation, and querying large datasets.
Experience with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, or similar platforms for developing dashboards and visualizations.
Hands-on experience with ETL processes (Extract, Transform, Load) for data integration and management.
Preferred
Prior industry experience within Healthcare or Marketing
Proficiency in Python or R for data analysis, automation, and advanced analytics desirable.
Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and tools (e.g., Snowflake).
Leverage Python or other scripting tools to automate data processes, enhance reporting efficiency, and support advanced analytics.
