Responsibilities
Data Analyst gathers the data through data extraction methods, running reports using SQL and BI reports.
Post extraction, data requires some transformation and loading into BI tools for dashboarding and insights.
Combining multiple data sources to build reports will be the primary job responsibility.
Identifying areas of report optimization and process enhancements in Oracle report development will be key.
Business Intelligence Analysts must have the ability to analyze large amounts of data from a cloud application to identify and understand relevant trends.
Working with the IT Team to launch new software.
Business Intelligence Analyst creates policies and procedures regarding collecting and analyzing data
Critically evaluating and screening data, data profiling to identify any issues, and discovering new data correlations and relationships
Developing new data analysis processes
Assessing analytics on an ongoing basis
Overseeing the data warehouse, including the collection and utilization of all data
Extending knowledge of Business Intelligence to provide ongoing refinement of processes to improve operations
Express key findings using data visualization tools

Required
Bachelor's degree in business, management, accounting, economics, statistics, information science or similar subject area.
2 years developing Tableau reporting and analyzing business data.
Technical Skills: Business intelligence analysts use complex computer programs to mine data sources and look for trends.
Analytical Skills: Ability to determine data trends and their implication. The ability to analyze many different types of data is required.
Data Visualization Skills: This position must be able to translate complicated data sets into formats that are easy to understand by non-technical people.
Problem-Solving: Ability to recommend solutions for creating better processes and reducing cost based on data and trend analysis.
Time Management: Must be able to manage data large projects with multiple data streams and multiple deadlines. Must be able to manage several simultaneous deadlines.
Business Acumen: Must be able to quickly learn and understand fundamental issues within a business and industry. Able to discern problems or potential problems within business processes.
Teamwork Skills: Must be able to work proactively and enthusiastically within a multi-functional team.
Prior Cloud applications reporting experience - Must have
Dashboard Development/Report Development skills in Oracle Cloud, Power BI, and Tableau - Must have
Oracle Database - OTBI, BI Publisher Reporting - Must have
Strong Data Analytics/Data Handling experience โ Must have
Preferred
MBA, or Masters Degree in Information Science, Quantitative Analysis, or related area.
Advanced Excel skills - preferred
Medium to Advanced Oracle SQL experience, ETL experience, and Cloud Data Warehousing - highly preferred
Working with HR data - preferred
