Responsibilities
Lead the end-to-end development of interactive Tableau dashboards and reports, ensuring clarity, usability and alignment with business goals
Design and implement self-serve analytics solutions enabling users to explore data independently while maintaining data governance and usability standards.
Leverage advanced Tableau features, such as LOD expressions, parameter actions, and dynamic visualizations to deliver impactful insights.
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into effective visual solutions.
Apply principles of design intelligence to create visually compelling dashboards that enhance user engagement and comprehension.
Continuously improve designs based on user feedback and emerging trends in data visualization.
Utilize strong SQL skills to query, manipulate, and analyze large datasets from various sources.
Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies to support strategic decision-making and improve operational efficiency.
Proactively address data-related issues, ensuring data quality and integrity in reports and dashboards.
Engage in requirements gathering, task prioritization and effective communication with stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of projects.
Mentor and guide a team of junior BI developers, fostering skill development and enhancing team productivity.
Collaborate with data engineers, business analysts and other cross-functional teams to align on goals and deliverables.
Present insights and recommendations clearly and persuasively to both technical and non-technical audiences, including senior leadership.
Stay updated on Tableau features and best practices, sharing knowledge and driving adoption of innovative techniques within the team.
Demonstrate a willingness to learn new emerging BI tools, methodologies and approaches to strengthen the team’s capabilities.

Required
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, Data Analytics or related analytics areas.
5+ years of hands-on experience as a Business Intelligence Developer with a proven track record of delivering impactful dashboards.
Expertise in Tableau and similar BI tools with a focus on data visualization and design principles.
Strong SQL skills for querying and optimizing large data sources.
Excellent communication skills, with a talent for presenting technical insights to diverse audiences.
Strong problem-solving mindset, with the ability to tackle complex technical and analytical challenges.
Proven project management skills including requirements gathering, task prioritization, and stakeholder communication.
Strong mentoring and leadership capabilities with experience guiding junior team members.
Preferred
Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and cloud-based platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
Experience with additional BI tools like Power BI, Looker or Apache Superset.
Exposure to advanced analytics methods and tools such as Python or R.
Understanding of ETL processes and tools.
