Responsibilities
Serve as a subject matter expert in the healthcare payer space, with deep understanding of claims processing, member and provider management, benefits administration, and regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with business stakeholders and end users to define, document, and prioritize requirements, ensuring alignment with product vision and project objectives.
Develop and maintain a product roadmap for the full-stack JavaScript web application, aligning with strategic goals and adapting to evolving needs in the healthcare payer domain.
Lead the management of the product backlog, ensuring clear prioritization of user stories and alignment with business priorities for the development team.
Work closely with technical teams to define and leverage AWS cloud capabilities, understanding the technical architecture and supporting cloud-native development needs.
Actively participate in SAFe Agile ceremonies such as PI Planning, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives, collaborating with cross-functional teams and driving continuous improvement.
Write detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional requirements for JavaScript front-end and back-end development teams, ensuring alignment with product goals.
Act as the primary liaison between business and technical stakeholders, facilitating clear and timely communication on project progress, requirements, and risks.
Collaborate with QA and UAT teams to ensure the product meets all functional requirements and quality standards.
Conduct competitive analysis and research to identify trends, best practices, and potential enhancements in healthcare payer web applications.
Ensure that the product adheres to all regulatory requirements, such as HIPAA, and proactively identify risks in requirements, design, or deployment.

Required
7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or Product Manager, with at least 3 years focused on the Healthcare Payer domain.

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Life Sciences, Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields.
Preferred
Experience with SAFe Agile or other Agile frameworks, including roles, ceremonies, and principles.
