Responsibilities

Identify and translate business system requirements and related solutions over a complete business process.

Conduct research, interpret technical documents, provide recommendations to solve business problems.

Perform GAP analysis to identify gaps between current and desired states of business processes and systems.

Create user stories, document business processes, training procedures, project status, etc.

Act as a liaison between user community and technical applications development staff.

Define business processes, ensure system alignment, resolve system problems for smooth customer processes.

Drive process improvement initiatives across teams and the organization.

Participate in Agile ceremonies, coordinate the full software delivery lifecycle.

Required

5+ years of experience in a Business Systems Analyst or adjacent role in the Mortgage industry. Experience must include working independently on large and complex projects that built or enhanced production systems.

5+ years of experience in mortgage industry – knowledge/expertise in mortgage origination, post-closing, and secondary marketing is required. Advanced knowledge of process and nomenclature and rules and regulations surrounding the industry

Direct experience/expertise with Loan Origination Systems (LOS) – preferably BytePro

Direct experience/expertise with other core mortgage systems including product, pricing & eligibility systems (PPE), automated underwriting systems (AUS) and integrations, mortgage servicing systems, etc.

Demonstrated ability to work closely with the Domain Product Owner, across multiple teams and a wide customer base

Hands-on experience in working with API’s

Experience in working with Postman or other API tools

Excellent organizational and project management skills

Ability to organize large amounts of information and glean insights, define problems, and identify root causes

Strong written and oral communication skills to define business and technical parameters and lead team to meet business requirements
