Responsibilities

Performs work on all aspects of the system analysis process from end to end of the software development lifecycle

Elicit requirements from subject matter experts using various techniques such as interviews, document analysis, and workshops

Conceptualizes new systems or modules by facilitating requirements sessions and constructing process flow charts

Defines, documents, and translates business requirements into detailed functional specifications

Works closely with business SMEs, development team, and project manager to develop functional solutions

Supports testing teams in translating requirements into test conditions and expected results

Responsible for maintaining all assigned business systems documentation

Analyze information needs and functional requirements and deliver various artifacts as needed

Verify and track satisfaction of requirements in delivered solution through acceptance testing

Supports and contributes to project management activities by participating in scoping and estimating efforts

Serves as a consultant to management, senior management, and customers

Required

5 years with BS/BA. Additional years of experience maybe accepted in lieu of the degree

Experience working in an agile / iterative development environment

Demonstrated experience with systems and applications development projects supported by the team including system components, functionality, interfaces, data flows, and business rule

Demonstrated experience in drafting/writing communication content, materials, and products

Demonstrated experience in translating technical content into formats written in plain language and easy to understand

Demonstrated ability to adjust quickly to changing priorities and make quick decisions with limited information

Demonstrated ability to organize and prioritize end user issues/requests

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Products (Outlook, Word, Excel, Visio and PowerPoint)

Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of executives, managers, and subject matter experts

Must be a US Citizen or a Green Card Holder

Must be able to obtain and maintain the required agency clearance
