Responsibilities
Identifying and executing suitable methodologies in the team’s technical work products, including, but not limited to: working capital true-ups, funds flow calculations, revenue recognition, stock compensation, and complex capital structures.
Playing an essential role in developing relationships with current and prospective clients.
Assisting the valuation team as needed with transactional accounting matters.
Supporting the financial due diligence team as required.
Ensuring that "best practices" are established and implemented within the Transaction Group, encompassing policies, processes, and tools.
Being an integral member of the Transaction Group with a shared vision and cultivating trust within the team.

Required
Bachelor's degree in accounting.
5+ years of relevant experience.
CPA Designation or actively working towards it.
Strong computer skills and proficiency in various accounting and related software, including Microsoft Office Suite.
Comprehensive knowledge of all areas of the general ledger, as well as month-end/year-end close procedures.
Experience in preparing supporting reconciliations for balance sheet accounts under GAAP.
In-depth understanding of GAAP, financial statement procedures, and familiarity with review, compilation, and auditing standards.
Preferred
Experience with QuickBooks (desktop or online) and/or other general ledger software.
