Responsibilities
Create new 2D and 3D models or modify existing ones using SolidWorks.
Reverse engineer models and literature from suppliers to enhance McMaster-Carr's offerings.
Develop design tables, configurations, and unique modeling techniques.
Work in a production-heavy environment with tight deadlines.
Collaborate with suppliers to create photorealistic 3D models and 2D dimensional drawings.

Required
Industrial Designers or Mechanical Engineers with at least 2 years of experience drafting and modeling industrial components
Candidates with experience using SolidWorks and knowledge of parametric solid modeling
Designers able to create photorealistic 3D models and 2D dimensional drawings
Detail-oriented individuals with strong communication skills
Effective troubleshooters able to work independently for a majority of their time
Organized individuals who value a production heavy environment with tight deadlines
