Responsibilities

Use CAD software to create detailed technical drawings, plans, and blueprints based on specifications provided by engineers, architects, or project managers.
Produce accurate 2D and 3D models of components, assemblies, and structures, ensuring they meet design standards and project requirements.
Work closely with engineers, architects, and other professionals to understand project requirements and make necessary revisions to designs.
Identify and resolve design issues or discrepancies that may arise during the drafting process.
Review and verify designs for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to industry standards and regulations.
Prepare and maintain documentation, including technical drawings, design specifications, and project files.
Effectively communicate design concepts and technical information to colleagues and stakeholders.
Stay updated on CAD software advancements, industry trends, and best practices to enhance skills and productivity.

Required

Proficiency with CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar.
Strong understanding of CAD data management principles and practices.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
Proven experience as a CAD Administrator or similar role.
Experience with CAD customization and scripting.
Familiarity with PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) systems.
Knowledge of 3D modeling and rendering techniques.
