Responsibilities

Accurate and complete library drawings created and revisions maintained for all product and part numbers.
Creation of detailed shop drawings to aid the manufacturing process.
Meeting deadlines and informing the manager of risks.
Identifying anomalies/variances from specifications and customer orders.
Preparing sketches, modifying drawings, and finalizing drawings for projects.
Interacting with internal teams to ensure timely and quality delivery of products.
Reviewing drawings for colleagues and resolving discrepancies.
Performing all other duties and projects as assigned.

Required

Ability to apply internal and industry specific drafting standards with the specifications of the designs assigned
PC computer skills: SolidWorks (incl. 3D modeling, design tables, drafts, and PDM), AutoCAD, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Sharepoint, Teams)
Ability to maintain accuracy while meeting tight timelines
Strong mathematical and analytical skills
Strong problem-solving skills
Mechanical Aptitude, particularly with understanding of measurements
Keen attention to detail
Ability to work extended hours and weekends as required, sometimes on short notice
1HS diploma or GED
1 or more years of employment experience, demonstrating a superior work ethic
Minimum of 2 years of experience with SolidWorks and AutoCAD software
Knowledge of steel dimensions and measurements a must

Some level of college education and/or coursework
