Responsibilities
Reviews and evaluates design drawings, project submittals, samples, and technical plans submitted by various contractors.
Conducts periodic site visits to ensure contract compliance.
Manages the planning, organizing, controlling, coordinating, and reviewing of designs, construction, and related work performed by contractors.
Initiates funding requests and manages capital projects to adhere to DC Courts Procurement guidelines and applicable Federal requirements.
Assists in the review and development of program-wide standard operating procedures and governance documents.
Serves on Source Selection Evaluation Boards and interview panels for the selection of employees and contractors.

Required
A High School diploma and a minimum of nine (9) years of experience in construction projects
Must have experience working on projects that include oversight over projects located in secured facilities
Authorization for the release of adult criminal record revealing any convictions and forfeitures, and any criminal cases currently pending before the courts is required
Preferred
PMP and/or CCM certification
Experience working on both Design Build and Design Bid Build projects
Enthusiastic and engaged professional who enjoys working with a diverse group of Court personnel and customers and lives the DC Courts' values of Accountability, Excellence, Fairness, Integrity, Respect, and Transparency
