Responsibilities

Maintaining transactional accounting information in QuickBooks to include all banking, investment, policy and premium transactions

Adjusting the general ledger accounts in QuickBooks as needed for earned premium, claims reserves, income tax reserves, accrued expense reserves and other balances

Reconcile all bank accounts

Create and maintain a set of financial statements in Excel including supporting work papers

Maintain policy information for all insurance transactions; direct, assumed and ceded

Maintain claim information as provided by the client or third party administrator

Coordinate meetings with the client to include the annual owners’ and directors’ meetings

Interact with other service providers to provide and obtain information needed to complete assigned tasks

Interact with state regulators as necessary for reporting and client requests

Perform all other duties and special projects as assigned
