Responsibilities
Design, deploy, and manage large-scale Cassandra database clusters on Kubernetes/GKE.
Ensure high availability and disaster recovery of database systems.
Monitor and optimize performance of Cassandra clusters, including query tuning and data modeling.
Handle large-scale databases with data sizes in petabytes, ensuring performance and stability.
Automate deployment, scaling, and monitoring processes using industry-standard tools.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop scalable and efficient solutions for data-intensive applications.
Implement best practices for backup, replication, and data security.
Perform root cause analysis and resolve production incidents related to the Cassandra database.
Keep up-to-date with the latest advancements in Cassandra, Kubernetes, and distributed database systems.

Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer science or equivalent
Minimum 12+ years of relevant experience
