Responsibilities
Interfacing with vendors, customers, and internal teams to resolve casting-related issues
Developing continuous improvement initiatives for casting processes
Reviewing casting pattern development and pouring plans
Communicating project intentions and status to customers and government end-users
Coordinating pattern management and production strategy
Supporting qualification of foundry vendors and maintaining relationships

Required
Bachelors of Science in Engineering is preferred
5-10+ years experience with leading casting design and/or processes
Must be able to communicate effectively in writing, by phone, and face-to-face.
Working familiarity with Microsoft Office suite of products
Occasional travel (<25%) to vendors and other company facilities
Access or potential access to Unclassified Naval Nuclear Propulsion Information, which is Not Releasable to Foreign Nationals (NOFORN) data. Must provide proof of US Citizenship and attest that you do not have dual citizenship. Acceptable proof of US Citizenship is a US Passport, US Birth Certificate or Naturalization Certificate.
Preferred
Familiarity with a mechanical / fabrication environment is a plus.
