Responsibilities

Provide support to the assigned Senior Project Engineers in monitoring the financial performance of the construction project.

Coordinate and supervise project inspection activities to ensure contractor compliance of plans, contract documents, specifications and standards.

Interact with the general public, government agencies, contractors, sub-contractors, and other internal and external parties to respond to inquiries and resolve field issues.

Direct and assign specific tasks to inspectors.

Notify contractor of non-compliance and corrective action.

Track project progress and advise parties of possible overruns, and critical project issues.

Analyze project related issues and recommend appropriate solutions.

Coordinate administrative aspects of projects including; contract reviews, contracting, scheduling, month-end processing, project accounting, project related reporting and cash management.

Assist in the planning and development of company marketing and communication materials.

Review plans for constructability and biddability.

Represent the company at various community and/or business meetings.

Required

Requires two (2) years of engineering experience in relevant transportation projects

Requires a HS diploma or equivalent and eight (8) years of CEI or roadway or bridge construction experience

Preferred

Bachelor's degree in civil engineering
