Responsibilities
Track and report all letters sent to all referral sources as well as tracking the additional letters on all high priority referrals once determinations of placements are made.
Track and report daily bed census.
Update and manage phone, contact, and email distribution lists.
Complete office requisitions.
Manage and monitor CPA mailings and faxes.
Set up new employees with phones, computers, computer access, and any other items that may needed for new hires, order supplies, write up/reports problems to IT, or maintenance.
Take phone calls and messages as needed.
Manage CPA SharePoint site and other lists and forms.

Required
Knowledge of basic medical terminology.
Data entry skills sufficient to create database records and update entries or create and apply the basics of spreadsheets and supply/retrieve information in databases.
Customer service skills sufficient to provide prompt, courteous and accurate information to a variety of customers over the phone, in person, and via email.
Word processing skills to develop and modify a variety of correspondence, records, and reports; write and edit a variety of documents in business English using correct spelling, grammar, and punctuation.
Typing/keyboarding skills sufficient to take meeting minutes, complete a variety of reports, letters, and data summaries.
Preferred
Experience providing clerical or office support in a healthcare setting, such as hospital, clinic, or nursing home.
Training or experience in medical administration or as a health unit coordinator.
Preferred candidates will have a variety of experiences working effectively with others from different backgrounds and cultures.
