Responsibilities
Work with local permit offices to evaluate residential appraisals that have been provided as part of the permitting process.
Assist with applications completing the permitting process.
Expedite the permitting process, focusing on projects in flood-prone areas.
Ensure alignment with FEMA and NFIP guidelines.

Required
Must be a Certified Residential Appraiser with current certification (all state certification considered)
Minimum of 3 years of experience in residential property appraisals
Proficiency in appraisal software
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
Valid driver’s license
Experience in using GIS software for identifying flood zones
Ability to interface and communicate with building permit staff and homeowners
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
Must be 18 years of age or older
