Responsibilities
Lead the development and implementation of change management strategies and frameworks for projects under the NFIP.
Document and track all changes to project requirements, ensuring alignment with program objectives and compliance with federal standards.
Collaborate with stakeholders to assess the impact of proposed changes and develop mitigation strategies.
Prepare clear, concise change management documentation, including change requests, impact analyses, and approval workflows.
Conduct stakeholder outreach and training sessions to ensure seamless adoption of new processes or tools.
Maintain change logs, ensuring transparency and accessibility of change-related information across teams.
Work closely with project managers, technical teams, customers and program leadership to integrate change management practices into the project lifecycle.
Recommend process improvements throughout the project lifecycle.
Manages software development changes by reviewing scope creep, ensuring change orders are properly executed with updated requirements thoroughly documented, and facilitating meetings with stakeholders to ensure alignment on changes and their impacts to the program.

Required
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in change management, preferably within a government contracting or federal program environment.
Proven expertise in creating and managing change management documentation.
Familiarity with change management methodologies (e.g., Prosci, ADKAR) and tools.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence diverse stakeholders.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Ability to obtain a DHS Public Trust (High) Security Clearance.
Preferred
Experience supporting federal programs, particularly in disaster management or insurance.
