Responsibilities

Works with Charge Assurance Auditor to resolve frequently identified charge capture issues that result in claim errors.

Proactively monitors and resolves charge related claim edit work queues and dashboards.

Conducts research and analyzes claim edit errors, and work with the Client’s Revenue Integrity departments to resolve such errors.

Review patient accounts to ensure charge accuracy based on knowledge of regulatory guidelines and according to hospital policy.

Prepare appeals letters for Charge Assurance Auditor.

Provide patient log identifying patient accounts reviewed including detailed charge discrepancies and resolution by charge code.

This position may be up to 32 hours rather than 40 hours.
