Responsibilities
Oversee maintenance and operation of all building systems including fire/life safety, mechanical, electrical, lighting, and digital systems.
Supervise and manage engineers and maintenance staff, including hiring, training, and development.
Identify maintenance objectives, safety hazards, and ensure compliance with regulatory laws.
Develop capital plans, oversee major projects, and maintain compliance documentation.
Manage contractors, maintain engineering logs, and conduct staff reviews.
Ensure availability of tools and supplies, protect owner's asset value, and manage service contracts.
Organize administrative functions, develop preventive maintenance programs, and provide training to engineering team.
Manage tenant and capital improvement projects, track utility consumption, and provide regional support as needed.

Required
High school diploma or equivalent
6+ years’ experience with commercial building operating systems and general building maintenance procedures
2+ years of maintenance lead or management experience
Ability to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and memos
Ability to write simple correspondence and instructions
Ability to explain issues in a clear and basic format dealing with operational and mechanical systems
Skills in operating hand and power tools, power lifts, scaffolding, ladders
Able to read digital meters and voltage testers
Able to troubleshoot all building systems including electric and pneumatic controls
Ability to interpret blueprints and schematics
Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office/Suite and other software programs
Preferred
EPA Universal/CFC certification
Experience with a CMMS system, such as Corrigo
