Responsibilities

Oversee the scheduling, maintenance, and monitoring of all heating, ventilating, air conditioning, water, electric, emergency backup systems and other base building systems to ensure efficient operation.

Implement and schedule preventative maintenance standards in compliance with Jones Lang LaSalle and client guidelines.

Manage and schedule all projects delegated to the operating engineers and maintenance technicians, reviewing work performed for accuracy and quality.

Prepare and submit client/JLL maintenance reports (UPS batteries, QER, Overtime, Energy, SEP, etc.).

Evaluate vendors and suppliers regularly on quality and competitive pricing.

Communicate regularly with the Site Manager, attend scheduled staff meetings/calls.

Review and analyze system data (reliability, 1 calls, etc.) and develop recommendations with the Site Manager on maintenance changes, upgrades, replacements, etc.

Maintain a critical parts inventory and monitor it throughout the year.

Perform other duties and tasks as assigned by management.

Lead, manage, develop, and supervise a professional team in the delivery of efficient building operations.

Provide onboarding, training, and team building.

Support an environment of teamwork, co-operation, performance excellence, and personal success.

Participate in individual performance management and personal development planning for team members.

Align with the facilities leadership team and act in a managerial capacity.

Act as an ambassador for JLL, upholding the firm’s core values of Teamwork, Ethics, and Excellence.
