Responsibilities

Monitors operation and maintains refrigeration, water cooling, and air conditioning equipment, boilers, heating, ventilating, and hot water equipment, pumps, valves, piping, and filters.

Oversees repair and preventive maintenance of HVAC systems, determines frequency of repair and maintenance for HVAC systems.

Identifies safety hazards within the building, incorporates remediation of hazards, and ensures compliance with regulatory laws and guidelines.

Supervises and manages engineers and maintenance staff, including hiring, training, and personal development.

Provides training and support for expanding the capabilities of the operations staff, demonstrating proper tool use, basic maintenance, safety procedures, and troubleshooting.

Executes equipment inspection and monitoring programs, implements maintenance best practices, and evaluates current maintenance, operations, and reliability methods for enhancing performance.
