Responsibilities

Develop and execute the company’s renewable energy project development strategy, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.

Oversee all aspects of project development, including site selection, permitting, interconnection, and stakeholder engagement.

Lead a team of development professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability.

Manage relationships with landowners, regulatory agencies, utilities, and community stakeholders to ensure project success.

Identify and evaluate new markets, technologies, and partnership opportunities to expand the company’s development pipeline.

Work closely with the finance and construction teams to ensure projects are financially viable and transition seamlessly from development to execution.

Monitor market trends, regulatory changes, and industry advancements to position the company as a leader in the renewable energy space.

Represent the company in high-level negotiations with partners, investors, and stakeholders.

Required

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field

15+ years of experience in renewable energy project development, with a proven track record of successfully delivering utility-scale solar, wind, or energy storage projects

Deep understanding of permitting processes, regulatory frameworks, and interconnection requirements in the renewable energy industry

Strong leadership skills, with experience managing and scaling large, multidisciplinary teams

Excellent relationship management skills with the ability to engage effectively with landowners, regulatory bodies, utilities, and community stakeholders

Strategic thinker with the ability to identify new market opportunities and drive growth initiatives

Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills

Passion for renewable energy and a commitment to driving the global energy transition
