Responsibilities
Oversee daily operations, including project management, service delivery, and resource allocation.
Develop and implement standardized processes, including contract initiation, performance metrics, and resource planning.
Ensure all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Manage operational workflows to meet contractual obligations and client expectations.
Lead and mentor a diverse team of project managers, technicians, and support staff.
Foster a collaborative, results-driven culture that prioritizes operational excellence.
Collaborate with the finance team on budgeting, forecasting, and cost management.
Monitor operational KPIs and adjust strategies to meet financial and performance targets.
Act as a trusted advisor to the President, providing data-driven insights to guide strategic decisions.
Build relationships with key stakeholders, including government clients and industry partners.
Ensure compliance with all relevant industry regulations, including NFPA codes and government contracting standards.

Required
P&L ownership experience at a $5M+ organization
10+ years in Operations and Project Management, with at least 5 years managing and developing teams
Strong leadership capabilities with hands-on operational oversight
Proven expertise in project management, resource allocation, and process improvement
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage internal and external stakeholders
Financial acumen, including experience with budgeting, forecasting, and cost control
Collaborative and adaptable leader who can thrive in a fast-paced, small business environment
Ensure compliance with all relevant industry regulations, including NFPA codes and government contracting standards
Preferred
P&L ownership experience at a $15M+ organization
Industry experience in fire protection, life safety, physical security, or aligned specialty trades
3+ years’ experience in government contracting
Veterans and veterans with service-connected disabilities are highly encouraged to apply
NICET certifications, NFPA CPFS, or other industry-relevant credentials are a plus
