Responsibilities
Develop and execute strategies to accelerate client growth. Create selling plans and drive new client acquisition, including attending trade shows and summits.
Conduct market research to identify trends and competitive opportunities. Adjust growth strategies to stay ahead of retail trends.
Build and maintain relationships with key partners, including CPG companies, suppliers, distributors, and PE groups. Lead negotiations with prospective clients.
Manage the sales pipeline from prospecting to closing. Regularly report sales metrics and forecasts, ensuring smooth handoffs to delivery teams post-signing.
Lead and mentor the Business Development team to achieve KPIs. Integrate business development strategies with company growth plans.
Lead contract negotiations, ensuring favorable terms and clear client expectations. Monitor post-sale activities for satisfaction and potential cross-sell opportunities.

Required
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Retail Management, or related field
15+ years in business development or sales within the sales agency community
Expertise across all retail channels (e.g., Club, Mass, Grocery, Convenience)
Proven success in driving revenue growth and client acquisition
Strong strategic thinking, negotiation, relationship-building, and communication skills
Experience with sales and CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot)
