Responsibilities

Promote and protect Tesla’s reputation as a cutting-edge company in the automotive industry

Manage multiple projects from planning to construction phases

Define project scope, schedules, budget, and resource requirements

Develop high-quality civil engineering products including drawings, specifications, and calculations

Communicate project needs, changes, and status to internal and external team members

Review drawings and proposals, and coordinate with vendors and architects

Required

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent experience

3 - 5 years of hands-on experience building high-tech/industrial infrastructure and operational facilities (semiconductor, solar, battery, etc.)

Experience in civil engineering design, stormwater management plans, stormwater pollution prevention plans (SWPPP), heavy civil, wastewater, and manufacturing

Operational construction Site development background with experience in design of roadway, grading, pavement, sewer, storm drainage, water, erosion and sediment control, and traffic plans

Proficient in AutoCAD and AutoCAD Civil 3D for civil design

Ability to multi-task and adapt to rapidly changing project requirements and timelines

Ability to communicate clearly and interface at an executive level within a diverse team

Ability to uphold the use of standards and escalate issues in a timely fashion

Desire to do the impossible with a positive and professional 'never say die' attitude

Demonstrates an 'outside the box' problem-solving approach; develop alternative and innovative design solutions
