Responsibilities

Develop plans, reports, and documents for land development projects.

Oversee the design and quality assurance of plans produced.

Review projects to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.

Collaborate with project teams to ensure projects are completed in a timely and cost-effective manner.

Prepare engineering plans, reports, and related documents, including but not limited to grading, erosion control, utilities, roads, and drainage.

Provide technical guidance and support to other members of the construction team, vendors, and professional consultants.

Manage the procurement and execution of consultant’s scopes of work related to geotechnical reports, land surveying, wetlands mitigation, etc.

Identify and resolve complex land development issues with reviewing agencies.

Oversee and manage project timelines and budgets.

Work closely with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders throughout the project.

Required

Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in Civil Engineering.

6+ years of related experience required, preferably in land development project engineering and drafting.

Professional Engineer license.

Excellent problem solving and communication skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D and other related civil engineering software.
