Responsibilities
Conduct site due diligence (including through site visits and the completion of a Site Walk Checklist), research permitting paths, and draft civil consultation memos;
Prepare site plans (Site Plan Review, Special Permit/Variance/Notices of Intent) for submission to authorities having jurisdiction (AHJs);
Analyze and prepare Stormwater Management Reports in support of projects using HYDROCAD;
Prepare SWPPP documentation (plans and narrative) and submit eNOI’s;
Assist in the development of standard details, notes, and specifications and reviewing design drawings;
Coordinate the proposal and work of our survey partners;
Coordinate consultant works such as wetlands delineation, cultural and historical specialists, arborists, etc;
As needed, accompany senior engineers to meetings with local planning/zoning boards and with state agencies and other entities;
Perform other duties as assigned.

Required
BS or MS Civil Engineering from an accredited engineering program or equivalent
NCEES EIT designation preferred
2-7 years of professional experience
Experience working with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and HYDROCAD or an equivalent tool
Familiarity or experience with surveys
Ability to work in ad-hoc teams and take direction. Comfort with ambiguity and a willingness to build, experiment, and iterate when the path forward is undefined
Ability to occasionally drive to evening-time meetings of project-approving authorities
Solid written and oral communication and analytical skills
Passionate about renewable sources of energy
