Responsibilities
Lead and participate in all phases of civil engineering projects including planning, pre-design, design, contract documentation, bidding, and construction
Specialize in various projects such as flood control facilities, dams, landfills, harbors, and large geotechnical projects
Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D, ArcGIS, and Microsoft Office Applications for project management and design
Manage Civil/Municipal projects involving site improvements, streets, drainage, and utilities
Develop new business opportunities, prepare project plans and specifications, and lead a staff of engineering professionals
Coach and mentor junior level technical staff and Graduate Engineers

Required
Bachelor’s Degree in civil engineering
Professional Engineer in the State of Minnesota or the ability to obtain registration within 6 months
Working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D, ArcGIS and proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications
Previous project management, design and construction administration experience of Civil/Municipal projects including site improvements, streets, drainage and utilities
Preferred
Minimum of Five (5) years previous experience
Previous experience serving as a design engineer or project manager for multiple city infrastructure projects
Ability to develop new business opportunities and win project work
Experience in preparing project plans, specifications and bidding documents
Previous experience in project proposal preparation and client service management
Previous experience leading a staff of engineering professionals
Ability to coach and mentor junior level technical staff and Graduate Engineers
