Responsibilities
Planning, design, permitting, and construction phase services for municipal water/wastewater, stormwater, and resiliency projects.
Serve as a senior technical resource and technical advisor for the team.
Communicate project tasks between offices with a high level of coordination and communication skills.
Provide specialized technical input to studies and design in the specific area of expertise.
Develop study and design procedures to facilitate high-quality cost-effective work by others.
Participate in interdisciplinary review of project deliverables.
Develop construction cost estimates and technical efforts estimates for projects.
Perform quality control review of design calculations or drawings.
Prepare technical specification sections.
Provide input to the development of engineering budget and schedule.
Oversee construction phase engineering services.
Coordinate with clients, sub-consultants, regulatory agencies, and the public to accomplish assigned objectives.

Required
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related field.
6 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
Experience as Professional Engineer in municipal water/wastewater and stormwater infrastructure engineering design projects.
Must be a licensed Professional Engineer in Florida.
Valid Driver’s License and must be able to pass AECOM’s Motor Vehicle Records review.
Preferred
Master's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
Experience mentoring or supervising other engineering professionals.
Ability to communicate and coordinate effectively with diverse audience.
Positive attitude, good aptitude, and strong initiative will integrate well with our existing group of outstanding professionals.
Experience in construction phase services.
Proven leadership skills and demonstrated ability to successfully work with diverse teams.
Demonstrated proven track record of leading technical engineering and successfully managing water, wastewater, and stormwater projects.
