Responsibilities
Expertise in the Land Development process in the City of Philadelphia and the surrounding region.
Manage multi-discipline projects with proficiency in site design functions like site layout, grading, utility design, stormwater management, erosion control, and regulatory approvals.
Utilize Hydrology and Hydraulics (H&H) modeling tools for stormwater management.
Coordinate various design disciplines, demonstrate problem-solving skills, and provide solutions to difficult issues.
Communicate effectively (verbal & written) and work collaboratively in a team environment.

Required
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (or a related discipline)
7+ years of professional experience working in Engineering, preferably with Land Development design projects
PE license in PA (we will consider candidates who are able to successfully obtain their PE within 6 months of their start date)
Expertise / deep knowledge of the Land Development process in the City of Philadelphia as well as the surrounding region
Management and/or Project Management experience; proven ability to manage multi-discipline projects is preferred
Advanced proficiency with site design functions: site layout, grading, utility design, stormwater management, erosion control, municipal & land-use regulatory approvals, etc
Experience working with stormwater management, especially while utilizing Hydrology and Hydraulics (H&H) modeling tools
Proficiency with engineering tools (e.g.: CADD, project management software, etc.); experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D is a plus
Proficiency on standard office software applications: Microsoft Office 365 (especially Word, Excel, and Outlook), Adobe Acrobat, etc.; experience working with Bluebeam Revu is a plus
Proven ability to look at the “Big Picture” as well the project goals in order to coordinate various design disciplines accordingly
Proven track record of demonstrating punctuality with consistent attendance
Proven ability to work in an energetic & challenging team environment as a collaborative Team Player, especially while maintaining the ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Proven ability to demonstrate problem-solving skills, especially when working on a variety of projects while providing solutions to difficult issues
Excellent communication skills (verbal & written)
Preferred
Proven ability to manage multi-discipline projects
Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D
Experience working with Bluebeam Revu
