Responsibilities
Site review, zoning/bylaws review, and outlining entitlement path;
Managing survey, environmental, and engineering sub-consultants as well as working with staff engineers;
Working with state agencies, towns, and other stakeholders, and presenting to planning/zoning boards, state, and federal agencies;
Assisting in the continued development of standard details, notes, and specifications;
Reviewing design drawings prepared by in-house or external designers.

Required
Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering with Massachusetts Civil P.E. license
6-12 years’ experience in site development, entitlement, environmental permitting (municipal, state, federal), and solar PV or energy storage experience
Experience in cost estimation, site visits, reviewing engineering services contracts, and managing subconsultants
AutoCAD Civil 3D and HYDROCAD (or equivalent design tools) proficiency
Ability to communicate design concepts and lead meetings between clients, engineers, regulatory officials, and consultants
Ability to manage multiple projects while being highly motivated, detailed, and organized
Preferred
For internal candidates, advanced understanding and commitment to the New Leaf Value Stream Map. External hires should have worked in a similar organization where procedures and SOPs were in place
