Responsibilities
Handling first and/or third-party claims across the United States, our adjusters investigate claims, evaluate coverage, communicate with insureds, independent adjusters, attorneys, experts, and clients.
We make claim notes, engage in written correspondence and reporting, evaluate insurance coverage and draft coverage position letters.
We establish and monitor reserves.
Ultimately, our goal is to move claims towards appropriate resolution as efficiently as possible.

Required
Minimum of five years licensed claims adjusting experience in casualty claim handling.
Claims adjuster license in their home state or a designated home state license.
New York adjuster's license.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Negotiation, investigation, and interpersonal skills.
Good computer skills, with knowledge of Microsoft Office, and the ability to work within a computerized claim system.
Preferred
At least a bachelor's degree.
Understanding of the Lloyd's marketplace.
