Responsibilities
Receive and record incoming claims from policyholders in a structured and accurate manner.
Confirm policy coverage and gather all necessary documentation to initiate the claims process.
Enter and maintain data in proprietary and industry-standard claims management systems.
Conduct thorough investigations to determine the validity and scope of submitted claims.
Collaborate with policyholders, witnesses, medical professionals, and other stakeholders to collect relevant evidence and information.
Review contracts, policies, and applicable legal documentation to ensure compliance with insurance terms and conditions.
Utilize advanced analytical tools and techniques to assess damages, losses, or liabilities.
Communicate findings to policyholders and provide clear explanations regarding coverage, benefits, and settlement outcomes.
Negotiate settlements within authorized limits while maintaining fairness and adherence to regulatory standards.
Serve as the primary point of contact for policyholders throughout the claims process.
Respond promptly and professionally to inquiries, providing accurate updates and timelines.
Ensure that all customer interactions reflect the agency’s commitment to exceptional service.
Maintain meticulous records of all claim-related activities, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Prepare comprehensive reports and summaries for internal review and regulatory compliance.
Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory updates, and best practices in claims management.
Participate in ongoing training programs to enhance technical expertise and professional skills.
Ensure full compliance with federal, state, and company-specific regulations governing claims practices.
