Responsibilities
• Develop and nurture relationships with managers and boards
• Maintain current book and grow new business
• Communication with the client throughout the renewal process to keep them up to date and ensure a 95% retention rate
• Ramp up and build a pipeline to add five new associations to the quoting process a week, resulting in three quotes presented, and generate one new association written or BORed weekly
• Provide timely and professional responses to all client communications
• Work with clients to communicate realistic deliverables of the team
• Collaborate with the team to execute key initiatives that align with agency goals, ensuring timely and effective completion of assigned tasks and contributing to overall operational success
• Follow and help improve agency procedures
• Develop and nurture relationships with property managers and association boards
• Join or participate in condo/coop organizations to network and build connections while promoting the brand
• Prospect new associations and request/obtain Broker of Records (BORs) whenever possible
• Gather necessary information to quote and present insurance proposals
• Communicate effectively throughout the quoting process until the binding order is secured
• Maintain an open line of communication with clients, regular check-ins, and other touch points
• Assist with claims and loss control recommendations
• Meet and discuss with clients before renewals, present renewal options, and meet client expectations to retain business
• Attend board meetings as needed
• Work with the team to communicate client expectations and ensure they are met
• Develop, execute, and adjust a sales and marketing process
• Document and follow processes to support the team in meeting all agency goals
• Be an advocate, promoting the company’s technology and strategic partnerships
• Understand the overall condo insurance market
• Monitor where lost business is going and identify potential new companies and strategies
• Stay informed about industry trends, including rates, coverages, and underwriting guidelines
• Contribute to strategy development

Required
Proven experience in a similar sales role within the insurance industry
Currently maintains an industry professional designation (CIC, CPCU, or comparable)
Currently licensed for Property and Casualty in IL and in good standing
Strong relationship-building and networking skills
Excellent communication and presentation abilities
Ability to develop and execute effective sales and marketing processes
Tech-savvy with proficiency in using CRM systems and other sales tools
Strong emotional intelligence with the ability to foster psychological safety while maintaining accountability and promoting open, constructive communication within the team
Alignment with the company’s core values: Finds the positive, commits to excellence, drives change and embraces it, and works together to win together
